Plastic Bottle Bowling Alley - Celebrate the National Recycling Day
November 15th is National Recycling Day! Celebrate this eco-friendly day with our Plastic Bottle Bowling Alley! It’s the perfect way to reuse your plastic and have fun while doing so!
Teach your little toucanoos about reusing materials and recycling what you can, for a greener world and sustainable crafting! Did you know that 80% of plastic bottles never get recycled? So make sure you do your bit… and what better way to do that than a game of bowling?!
Let’s Make The Bowling Alley
You Will Need
- 5 empty bottles
- Paper
- Colouring tools
- Tape
- Scissors
- Water
- Ball
What To Do:
1 Cut triangles out of paper and draw or paint faces and hair onto them. If you have other materials then get creative! You could add wool for hair and googly eyes!
2 Fill the bottles with ⅓ water and screw their caps back on. Then, use the tape to stick your decorated triangles onto the bottle.
3 Get bowling! Line up the bottles and roll your ball to knock over as many as you can!
Make sure you have a pen and paper handy to record your points! And don’t forget to practice a special celebratory dance for when you score a strike!
